Welcome to this week’s WWW Wednesday post, a meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words. Please go and have a look at everyone else is reading and make sure you post your own WWW in the comments so I can have a look.
The premise of the post is quite simple – answer the three Ws:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I’m currently reading The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah, as I have been for the past two weeks. I’ve just hit the halfway mark, but I’m loving every minute of it, so I don’t mind that it’s taking me so long. I’m not in any rush to finish it, and I’m happy for it to take me as long as it takes me.
What did you recently finish reading?
I haven’t finished reading anything since I last did WWW two weeks ago. i just wanted to post today as a quick update and to let you all know that I’ve not disappeared!
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’m still thinking I’ll read Local Girl Missing by Claire Douglas next. I think I’ll need a change from historical fiction, although I am really getting back into it, after having several months off. I’ve also had When the Doves Disappeared on my TBR, which I bought far too long ago, so I might give that ago now I’m back into historical fiction.
I am glad to hear that you are enjoying Nightingale.I have had it on my TBR for a while now but not yet gotten to it. I hope Local Girl Missing ends up being a great read. Enjoy your book(s) this week. Happy reading.

One genre I’m not too keen on is historical fiction but I have heard a lot of great things about The Nightingale. I hope you continue to enjoy.

I’ve had a big break from historical fiction so I’m looking forward to getting back to it next! After that, I really should look out for another thriller/mystery… just for some variety 🙂

Local Girl Missing has such a beautiful cover! I’m absolutely hooked on thrillers, mysteries and anything magical at the moment. I can’t seem to get out of this trend haha. I’ve been reading so many ebooks I think soon I need to focus on my physical ones on my shelves.

I’m the opposite, I don’t read enough ebooks and my physical shelves are overflowing!

The Nightingale is at the top of my historical fiction TBR at the moment, though I do need to be in the mood for historical fiction, so it might wait a little while. It also has an enormous queue at my library, so there’s that. Glad to hear you’re enjoying it!

I’m the same, it took me so long to finally get round to reading it. I have to be in exactly the right mood!
