Top Ten Tuesday – Ten Books I’ve Added To My To-Be-Read List Lately

Top Ten Tuesday is a bookish meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. This week’s theme is Ten Books I’ve Added To My To-Be-Read List Lately. I forever adding things to my TBR, often with no immediate intention of actually reading them, so here’s ten that I actually do intend to read in 2017, I just haven’t bought copies yet. I’ll probably end up pretty much duplicating this post in December for my 2017 TBR post.

Between Shades of Grey and Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys

I almost bought a copy of these a couple of weeks ago, but couldn’t find them in my local Waterstones. They will probably be on my Christmas wish-list.

Nina is Not Ok by Shappi Khorsandi

I’ve heard nothing but good things about this, and it seems the perfect read to get me out of my alternating thriller/historical fiction lull.

Before I Met You and The Making of Us by Lisa Jewell

Lisa Jewell is fast becoming one of my favourite authors, so I really need to read more of her books! These are the two best rated on Goodreads, out of the ones I’ve not already read, so they seem a good place to start!

Firefly Lane and Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah

After reading The Nightingale, I really want to read more by Kristin Hannah. All her books are so highly rated, but I love the title and covers of both of these, so I’ll probably give them a go first.

After I’ve Gone by Linda Green

After reading While My Eyes Were Closed by the same author, I sent her the link to my review on Twitter. She kindly informed me that her next book, After I’ve Gone is out next May, so I immediately added it to my TBR. I can’t wait to read it.

We Are All Made of Stars by Rowan Coleman

There seems to be far too many books this year with the title We Are All Made of…, and it’s getting a little tedious. This one however, stood out to me. I think I saw it on someone’s WWW, and thought it sounded just like my sort of thing, despite it’s annoying title!

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Steig Larsson

Surprisingly this has only recently gone onto my TBR. From the title, I didn’t think it would be my sort of thing, so I cast it aside. I recently actually bothered to read the synopsis, however, and it does actually sound great.

It’s been such a long time since I read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, but I remember enjoying it! I still have to read The Nightingale! It’s definitely one I’m excited to get to!
Hope you enjoy reading these books 🙂
