Welcome to this week’s WWW Wednesday post, a meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words. Please go and have a look at everyone else is reading and make sure you post your own WWW in the comments so I can have a look.
The premise of the post is quite simple – answer the three Ws:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I had hoped to get this finished over the weekend, but ended up being busier than planned. I’m currently reading After You by Jojo Moyes, and I’m enjoying it so far. I’m not expecting it to be anywhere near as good as Me Before You, but I do love Jojo Moyes’ writing style, and I’m enjoying catching up with Lou. Hopefully it won’t take me much longer to finish.
What did you recently finish reading?
I managed to finish The Girls by Lisa Jewell in about 3 days, which is why I thought I might actually get through two books this week! I absolutely loved it. Lisa Jewell is fast becoming one of my favourite authors and I can’t wait to read more of her books.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’ll be reading The Lie by C. L. Taylor next, followed by Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult. I want to cram as much as I can into the next few weeks, but I have too many books on my TBR, and too many ARC sat on my Kobo! I’ll probably change my mind, like I normally do.
The cover of The Lie has me intrigued! It’s something I think I’ll look further into 🙂
Happy Reading!

Ahhh I feel like After You is a HUGE disappointment to people after Me Before You but I hope you like it! I haven’t read it yet and I don’t think I ever will – I quite like finishing the story right then and there. Have you seen the movie yet? 😛

I think it helps that my expectations aren’t very high. I’m just trying to enjoy it for what it is. I haven’t seen the film yet, although I do want to.

Hope you like the film! I actually surprisingly liked it – the chemistry between the leads was pretty damn believable. ❤

I haven’t read a Jodi Picot book in years, but I certainly love that cover!

It gets some bad reviews as people compare it to Me Before You but I really loved After You. There was something about it that just hit me in the right place.
Go see the film of Me Before You. I had my doubts but absolutely adored it. I went alone so that I could do my big ugly crying without witnesses 🙂
